Phyllis Cronbaugh, you have become an invaluable asset to me as a presentation coach, after you attended one of my ACA Business Club workshops. Having just met you a few days prior to the event, you were introduced to me as an accomplished author and as an authority in the field of motivational speaking. We met a few days after that presentation at which time you shared with me two pages of notes (handwritten, front & back). At first, I was a bit overwhelmed, at the thought that I had done so many things wrong, but I would come to find out that not all of it was negative; most of it were suggestions and positive reinforcements. The main thing that I learned that morning from you centered around being more aware of my audience and the specific message that I wanted to get across to them.  I also learned that morning the major difference between facilitating and teaching. The core difference between both is on the outcome of the event; as a trainer I learned to focus on helping attendees to achieve a specific learned group outcome; as a facilitator I learned to help each member of the audience define his or her own outcome. I have since utilized your suggestions and critiques to enhance my presentations and training workshops.  Thank you, Phyllis!  Troy Burgher, ACA

“I got some great feedback from the group on a new presentation I’m putting together. It truly was much more than I expected, but exactly what I was hoping for. I appreciated the comments on my PowerPoint slides too. I can see where I provided way too much content (text) in my presentation. Scott was right; I need to go with a headline, an image and maybe one or two bullet points at most. Tina and Joy had wonderful advice about using examples and stories, and I want to thank Michael for taking the time to give me his notes. I’m going to take your advice and polish more and return for more comments. It’s great to perform with an audience of friends and caring people.

Thanks again.” Ron Durant, e-NERTIA Marketing

As an accomplished speaker, I've learned that feedback and critique are always beneficial.  What a great benefit to be able to have Phyllis help me work out the details of a new presentation. Her wise counsel made it effective and more powerful thank my ideas alone.

I am grateful for her help and the tips she gave.  I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to implement her advice and will be attending Presentation Partners on a regular basis.

“Phyllis Cronbaugh went above and beyond to help me. She met with me one-on-one and helped me re-write a script for my video business card. If you have a presentation coming up, need help writing something, or simply want to market yourself and tell your story better, talk to Phyllis. She can help!”

Phyllis* listened to my presentation three weeks ago. A few days later she worked with me for about an hour to tweak it. The next day I had two presentations. I crushed them. The knowledge she passed along to me was very valuable. She knows what she is doing, and I highly recommend anyone who does any public speaking whether 2 minutes or 2000, use her as a resource. Randy Wade, Olathe, KS.

How do you get an entire room of prospective clients on your side? A really good personal story told with passion. I learned this when Phyllis Cronbaugh* coached me through how to create a dynamic presentation. She showed me how to catch an audience's interest in the first minutes and pull them into the presentation. In the end, my first group of clients believed more in the need for my service than I did myself. Thanks so much. Christine Caseres, Overland Park, KS
