Donald R. Whitney has been in private practice since 1987, 14 of those years with the same Kansas City firm, and then establishing his own practice in 2001.
He earned his bachelor degree in Business Administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University, with Magna cum laude honors. He graduated Suma cum laude at the Washburn University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. Today, Don is rated “BV” by Martindale-Hubbell.

Don & Erika share five children from 13 to 24 years of age. Volunteers at their local church, serves as Chairman of the Olathe Board of Zoning Appeals, and is also a Major in the USAF Auxiliary, serving as a mission pilot and squadron legal officer.
